Whether your preference is digital or analogue, the Cyrus 40 AMP integrated amplifier is meticulously designed to be the heart of your home audio system, delivering an unparalleled performance regardless of your playback source. Capable of driving even the most demanding loudspeakers, this integrated amplifier meets the expectations of today’s discerning music enthusiasts with exceptional precision and power. Optimised Digital Performance At the core of all Cyrus digital products is a bespoke DAC design, and the 40 AMP exemplifies this commitment to excellence. Featuring the ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M chipset and HyperStream IV Dual DAC technology, the 40 AMP has been optimised to achieve peak performance. Each component has been carefully analysed by our engineering team, ensuring a digital experience that surpasses expectations. Improved Low Noise Phono Stage Building on the award-winning design of the Classic PHONO, the 40 AMP incorporates a phono stage that operates well beyond its class. With low background noise and high dynamic range, it is the ideal complement for a premium vinyl turntable, ensuring that analogue playback is as flawless as its digital counterpart. Refined Aesthetic and Power Supply Upgrade Housed in a striking, sleek brushed and black hard-anodised aluminium chassis, the 40 AMP boasts both elegance and functionality. Its 5” high-resolution, full-colour TFT display, combined with a toughened glass front panel and hidden-until-lit capacitive touch controls, makes for a truly modern user interface. The 40 AMP comes equipped with Cyrus’s custom-designed switch mode power supply, which can be further enhanced by connecting the optional 40 PSU external power supply, offering even greater stability and virtually noise-free operation. 40 CD Cyrus has long been a leader in designing high-performance CD players, and the Cyrus 40 CD continues to build on this legacy. Known for pioneering 'Servo Evolution' technology, developed nearly a decade ago, Cyrus focuses on extracting data from discs with extreme precision the first time, ensuring an almost silent noise floor. This approach has made their CD players a reference point worldwide. The Cyrus 40 CD sets new standards in digital playback, incorporating the brand's most advanced DAC yet. Digital Performance The 40 CD exemplifies Cyrus' commitment to superior digital performance. Featuring the ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M chipset and HyperStream IV Dual DAC technology, the internal components have been meticulously analysed and optimised by Cyrus' engineering team. This ensures the highest possible audio quality and a more refined listening experience. Custom-Designed Chassis and Power Supply The 40 CD is housed in a newly designed, sleek brushed and black anodised aluminium chassis with a full-width, linear heatsink. Its elegant, toughened glass front panel includes a 3.5" high-resolution TFT display and hidden-until-lit capacitive touch controls, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The power supply has been fully segmented to minimise interaction between digital, analogue, and control circuits, ensuring stable and efficient performance. The option to connect the 40 PSU external power supply further enhances its capabilities by providing multiple digitally controlled, noise-free power outputs. 40 Amp Specifications DAC: ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M 32-bit DAC Power Output: 2 x 100W (2 x 113W with 40 PSU) into 6 Ω Analogue Inputs: 4 x Analogue Inputs Phono MM Input: 1 x Phono MM Input Digital Optical Inputs: 1 x Digital Optical Input Digital Coaxial Inputs: 2 x Digital Coaxial Inputs Asynchronous USB-B Input: 1 x Asynchronous USB-B Input HDMI eARC Input: 1 x HDMI eARC Input Analogue Preamplifier Out: 1 x Analogue Preamplifier Out Fixed Output: 1 x Fixed Output Headphone Output: 1 x Headphone Output 40 PSU Compatible: Yes SPDIF Supported Formats: 16/44.1k - 24/192k USB Supported Formats: 16/44.1k - 32/384k DSD Supported Formats: Up to DSD256 DOP Supported Formats: Up to DOP128 Remote Control: Yes RJ45 Ethernet: For Firmware Updates USB-A: For Firmware Updates Dimensions: (H x W x D) 88 x 220 x 385 mm Weight: 8.5 kg Warranty: 5 Year Warranty 40 CD Specifications DAC: ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M 32 bit Line Level Analogue Outputs: 2 x Outputs Digital Coax Output: 1 x Output Digital Optical Output: 1 x Output 40 PSU Compatible: Yes RJ45 Ethernet For Firmware Updates: Yes USB-A For Firmware Updates: Yes Size (H x W x D): 88 x 220 x 365 mm Weight: 5.2kg Warranty: 5 Years
