CytoPel 1100 is low viscosity, low surface energy solution of a coating carried in a high boiling point (110°) fluoroether. This coating is designed for repellency to water, oils, buffers, reagents,and biofluids including blood. CytoPel dries to a thin, transparent, long-lasting film with great hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. This conformal coating is easy to apply, non-flammable, and non-toxic. This thin film coating will provide a water contact angle over 105° and a mineral oil contact angle over 60°. Application methods for CytoPel include pad printing, slot dye, spinning, spraying, and other common techniques.
