The most recent iteration of the Standard Series D-28 pays tribute to postwar D-28, while showing the latest innovations of Martin's 185 years of guitar building. It combines the most sought-after vintage appointments, including open gear tuners, 1-3/4" nut width, an aged toner top, antique white accents, and a faux tortoise pickguard. With a modern neck profile and PLEK treatment, this D-28 provides a modern precision, feel, and an overall comfortable playing experience.
