The D-D Reef-Pro 1500 is a large marine aquarium system designed to provide the essential features needed for a successful reef setup. Its wide proportions and increased height create an impressive viewing area while still allowing practical access for aquascaping, coral placement and maintenance. Aquarium Features The 150 × 60 × 56cm display aquarium is manufactured from 15mm low-iron, high-clarity glass, with polished edges and a clean, braceless design. A black-glass ‘invisible’ weir sits discreetly at the rear of the aquarium, helping it blend into the background. The removable D-D UltraFlow weir comb allows 30–50% more water flow than a standard comb, while the twin-pipe overflow system provides safe and near-silent operation. A built-in dry box allows lighting and pump cables to pass through the weir area while remaining hidden from view. The aquarium also includes a black rear background, complete pipework and a directional return outlet. Cabinet Features The heavy-duty 150 × 60 × 92cm cabinet provides generous internal space for the sump, filtration equipment and other accessories. The cabinet is supplied fully assembled and features strong internal construction, quick-release bi-fold doors and adjustable soft-close hinges. Adjustable feet allow the aquarium to be correctly levelled, while ventilation openings help reduce moisture and heat build-up inside the cabinet. The 1500S also includes a separate chiller or equipment section with a useful storage shelf. Sump Features The Reef-Pro 1500S includes a flexible multi-chamber sump with twin filter socks and a silencing plate, a large skimmer and equipment chamber, a separate refugium or multi-use chamber and a dedicated return-pump section. A lift-out filter-sock section allows straightforward installation of a ClariSea fleece filter. The sump also includes an integrated 22-litre freshwater top-up reservoir for use with an automatic top-up system.
