His technique is precise, and his improvisations are creative and inspiring. Because the Infamous Stringdusters are pushing the bluegrass genre in new directions, Andy needs a guitar that can keep up and cut through the mix. He needs more than just good lead tone, too—with no mandolin player in the band, Andy carries a lot of the weight on the rhythm side.
