The D-Link DCS-8302LH is a Full HD Wi-Fi camera for keeping an eye on the parts of a home that matter: a front door, a side gate, a driveway or a back room. A weather resistant body means it works outdoors, and the understated design sits comfortably indoors as well. Recording at 1080p keeps faces, number plates and parcel labels readable rather than reducing them to a smear of pixels, which is the difference between footage that is useful and footage that is merely reassuring. Placement is flexible because the camera connects over Wi-Fi rather than a cable run, so mounting it does not mean pulling a lead back to a recorder. The camera joins either the 2.4GHz or the 5GHz band, so it can sit on whichever band is less congested in your home. That matters most at the edges of a house, where a single crowded band is often the reason a camera drops off the network. Suited to homes and small premises wanting one or two monitored spots without a wired camera system. Browse more security cameras or see the wider smart home range.
