D Splicer - The ultimate rope splicing tool The D splicer is the ultimate rope splicing tool. It comes with a number of fittings/needles for different diameter ropes and helps you to gently feed the core of the rope back inside the cover. This is our most used splicing tool and is perfect for splicing with ropes of 1-8mm. To use this you simply select the correct sized needle, feed it up inside the rope, pinch the other rope with the needle and gently feed it back through. See the photos for an example. 4 needles and the handle are included within a storage tube.
