Forrest Hibbits This 1940s mixed media on board portrait is by California artist Forrest Hibbits (1905-1996). Hibbits graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts. He e xhibited at SFMOMA, the de Young Museum, the Oakland Museum of Art, and the Legion of Honor. Hibbits worked as a commercial artist at Patterson & Sullivan, a San Francisco ad agency in the 1920s-1930s. 1940s Mixed Media on Board 10.25"x14" unframed Estate stamped lower right. Good vintage condition, pinholes in each corner and the top and bottom edges and minor abrasions in the image area. Show more
