Forrest Hibbits This 1930s conte crayon and charcoal on paper figure is by California artist Forrest Hibbits (1905-1996). Hibbits graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts. He exhibited at SFMOMA, the de Young Museum, the Oakland Museum of Art, and the Legion of Honor. Hibbits worked as a commercial artist at Patterson & Sullivan, a San Francisco ad agency in the 1920s-1930s. 1930s Conte Crayon & Charcoal on Paper 16"x20" unframed Signed lower right and on the back.
