Introducing the JAS Musicals student tabla set The JAS student tabla sets are ideal for beginners, amateur players and for schools to teach tabla to their pupils. The Bayan (left s ide drum) of the tabla is made from milled steel and it is chrome-plated. The Dayan (right side drum) is made from a low density knotted Sheshamwood. The size of the dayan head is 5" (12.7cm) . Both heads of the dayan and bayan are made from a light gauge, treated natural goat skin.
