This D36 die has 36 sides, each equally likely to land face up - it's not isohedral (meaning it doesn't have quite as much symmetry as most dice shapes), but the design is based on spacing points as equally as possible on a sphere and then cutting planar slices perpendicular to those directions. In addition to the numbers 1-36, each face is marked with one of the 36 possible results for rolling two pipped six-sided dice - since there are 36 possibilities, you can use this dice in place of two six-sided dice. Or, if you'd like to model rolling two six-sided dice in a different way, simply take the square root of your D36 to get the equivalent of taking the maximum result from two D6 rolls.
