The Tynor Walker Boot Air Long D51 (moon boot) is a foot-and-ankle orthosis providing structured support to the lower leg during periods of recovery and rest. Intended Use May assist in managing discomfort associated with the following conditions: Fractures of the ankle and foot, and 2nd- and 3rd-degree sprains. Post-operative support, including after ligament reconstruction, where advised by a clinician. Conditions requiring lateral support of the ankle, as advised by a clinician. Tendon sheath inflammation requiring stiffening, under professional guidance. How to Use Open the liner by unfastening the straps and removing the front shell. Do not remove the air bulb from the liner. While seated, place your leg in the brace and wrap the liner securely around the foot, then the leg. Fasten the ankle, foot and calf straps in that order until snug and comfortable. Rotate the inflate/deflate valve clockwise and lock. Inflate the air chambers by pressing the air bulb; do not over-inflate. Before removing the brace, deflate the air chambers by rotating the valve anticlockwise.
