The M26 Pershing was the US Army's first operational heavy tank, rushed into combat in the closing months of World War II and armed with a hard-hitting 90mm gun capable of matching the German Panther and Tiger. The improved M26A1 variant introduced a single-baffle muzzle brake and other refinements, and Pershings went on to see extensive action in Korea, where they duelled with North Korean and Chinese T-34/85s. Dragon's Smart Kit rendition of the M26A1 features crisp slide-moulded detail on the hull and turret castings, a finely detailed 90mm M3A1 gun barrel, and individually linked track for a realistic sagging run.
