This figure and weapons set depicts a Chinese People's Volunteer Army anti-aircraft machine gun team operating a Soviet-supplied DShK 12.7mm heavy machine gun on its wheeled anti-a ircraft mount. DShK teams provided vital low-level air defence for CPVA columns and supply lines against UN air power during the Korean War, a constant threat to Chinese forces moving by day.
