The Ausf.C was a refinement of the Pz.Kpfw.II family, replacing the earlier small overlapping road wheels of the Ausf.B with a simpler, more robust arrangement of five larger road wheels and improved suspension. Still armed with the 2cm KwK 30 autocannon, the Ausf.C equipped Panzer divisions during the Polish and French campaigns and into the opening stages of the invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941. Dragon's 1/6 scale kit captures this distinctive suspension change alongside individually assembled track links, riveted hull and turret detail, giving modellers an easy way to distinguish the Ausf.C from its Ausf.B stablemate at a glance. Markings decals are included for finishing the tank in accurate early-war Panzer division colours. A fine large-scale companion to Dragon's Pz.Kpfw.II Ausf.B for anyone building out the early Panzer light tank family.
