Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe) is one of China's most legendary teas — a Wuyi rock oolong, expertly charcoal-roasted, offering a rich mineral character with an elegant orchid fragrance and a deep, warming finish. Taste & aroma Roasted and complex, with notes of dark chocolate, dried longan, orchid and a signature mineral "rock rhyme" (yan yun). Full-bodied and smooth, with a long, sweet aftertaste. Origin From the cliffs of the Wuyi Mountains, Fujian, China — the birthplace of rock oolong, prized for the minerality the terroir imparts. How to brew (gongfu style) 5g per 100ml at 95–100°C (203–212°F). Quick rinse, then steep 15–25 seconds for the first infusion, adding a few seconds each round. Rewards 6+ steeps. Western brewing: 3g per 250ml, 95–100°C, 2–3 minutes. Re-steep 2–3 times. Available in 50g, 100g and 250g. Sealed fresh in small-batch packaging.
