By design, the one thing the Martin doesn't support that other Daedalus wheels do is Irish tension which is perfect for rewinding bobbins. There are entire blog posts about the rea sons why one would want to rewind a bobbin. The primary reason is to even out twist before and after plying. The FiberFox Rewinder takes care of that by offering an Irish-esque setup that means you can spin, ply, and rewind with the Martin.
