This artwork was created to honour all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. One in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer. On average, 5 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are diagnosed with cancer every day; and are approximately 40% more likely to die from cancer than non-Indigenous Australians. The Cancer Council's annual National Daffofil Day raises awareness and funds to accelerate research in cancer prevention, screening and treatment, bringing us closer to a cancer free future. $10 from every Mirii Art Daffodil Day Print purchase will be donated to the Cancer Council.
