Alive 1997 captures Daft Punk in Birmingham in November 1997, taking material from their early catalogue into a continuous live mix. Across roughly 45 minutes, 'Da Funk', 'Rollin’ & Scratchin’' and 'Alive' become parts of one extended performance, with the WDPK sections framing the sequence. The repeated appearance of 'Rollin’ & Scratchin’' across the two vinyl sides reflects the way the set unfolds. It is a snapshot of the duo’s live approach during the Homework period, concentrating on the house and techno foundations of those tracks and the transformations possible within a performance.Format: Vinyl LPLabel: Daft Life Ltd.Catalogue number: 0190296618116TracklistA1.
