100% Corriedale shed spun, hand dyed and spun in the Mill. Each skein is unique. With three base colours the way the yarn is processed and spun in the mill gives very different colourways throughout. Weight/ply: Heavy Worsted weight to chunky Fibre: 100% Corriedale Meterage: 140 m (150 yd) / 100g Recommended needles: 5.5mm to 7mm (9 to 10.75 US) Approximate gauge: Due to the nature of my small batch mill, yarn is not like fully commercial yarn and often looks more like a handspun with variations in thickness throughout the yarn. Each batch is measured on a McMorrin scale to give an approximate length per 100g. Please enjoy the non-commercial qualities of the yarn. Care Instructions: All of my yarn is non-superwash. Gentle wash with appropriate product such as Powerscour® Fibre wash. Do not wring. Towel dry and then lay flat until completely dry (in the shade). With pure wool only occasional washing is recommended.
