A 3-4 hour workshop covering how to grow, dig and divide dahlia tubers. We have been growing dahlias commercially for 5 years and will share all of the knowledge we have learned along the way of how to grow these gorgeous, long flowering and highly sought after flowers. This session is perfect for anyone from beginner gardeners to the more experienced who are wanting to gain more knowledge and learn specific dividing skills. Bring a friend for a fun and educational afternoon and leave with all of the ingredients and know how to start growing some beautiful dahlias. To be held Sunday12th July 2026. Included in this workshop are the following: Hands on, very small group session where you will dig and be shown and supported to divide a large dahlia clump from our flower farm Printed booklet covering all of the information covered in the workshop ; from ground prep to planting and supporting to picking blooms and dividing tubers tools to divide dahlias on the day to take home with you gloves to use and take home delicious afternoon tea over $150 worth of dahlia tubers in a range of varieties to take home Tickets are non-refundable and your spot is only secure on payment. In the event you can't make it someone else can attend in your place. What to bring and wear? The workshop will be in the flower farm so wear sensible, warm clothes to suit the weather. Boots or closed toe shoes will be best. You may get a bit wet from washing down tubers. You can bring your own gloves if preferred.
