Say hello to your new summer favorite. A lightweight tee with lovely lace sleeves, and a generous scoop neckline that isn’t revealing. The elevated finishes, like the folded cuffs, hem, and dainty neckline details, add a little something special. The lace ribbed patterning on the sleeve is inspired by pointelle fabrics. This tee features a relaxed fit, making it airy, breathable, and comfortable, even on the hottest summer days. Construction:The Dain Tee knits up just like a raglan, with a silhouette closer to that of a saddle set-in sleeve. Worked top down seamlessly, you start by increasing for the shoulders, then start shaping the sleeves, body, and neckline. The neckline is joined, and the remainder of the yoke is worked in the round. Sleeve stitches are placed on hold while the body is finished, then stitches are picked up from the underarm to supplement the held stitches, and the sleeves are continued in lace. The body and sleeves are finished with a folded hem, which is attached to the main fabric with a crochet hook for a decorative element. Stitches are then picked up around the neckline for the collar. Difficulty: Intermediate As with all my size inclusive garment patterns, you can use the code ANTIFATTAX to get 20% off the pattern, intended for sizes 6-10 to help combat the extra costs incurred by knitting larger sizes. This pattern has been professionally tech edited by Hannah Middleton (Works of Our Hands), and has been test knitted.
