This is a Tonbodama by Japan based glass artist Daisuke Takeuchi titled “Triangles”. In Japanese, tonbo means dragonfly and dama means bead. This traditional style of Japanese bead making dates back thousands of years. Tonbodama are named for their intricate murrine patterns, which can resemble the compound eyes of a dragonfly. Show more
