If I had to pick the best dahlia that produces TONS of FLOWERS and TONS of TUBERS, it would be Daisy Duke. Hands-down. If that alone didn't make her super attractive, here are two other reasons I think she is a queen: 1.) Her foliage is has a chocolatey-brown hue to it and make for really interesting foliage in bouquets. It is unlike most dahlia foliage! 2.) She is a shortie -- maximum height on her in my hot and humid growing conditions is only about 3 1/2 feet -- maybe 4? She definitely doesn't hang with the normal growing height of dahlias.
