Dakkar is defined by its chain-like pattern, formed not through print or weave, but through alternating pile heights. The shift between levels creates a genuine tactile relief, giv ing the surface a three-dimensional presence that reads differently depending on the angle of light. Designed by Evolution 21 for JOV, the rug is constructed in a blend of wool and Tencel lyocell. Wool contributes warmth and resilience; Tencel introduces a restrained sheen that keeps the surface from feeling heavy. The result is a composition with quiet visual movement and a hand that is soft without being fragile.
