The DALI OPTICON series has six models in the series all benefit from the latest in new technologies and innovations to offer class-leading performance that defines TRUE HIFI! DALI OPTICON MK2 is available in the following models: 1, 2, 6, 8, LCR and VOKAL. The Dali Opticon 1 is the smallest speaker in the range. Their fresh new aesthetic design offers a significant visual upgrade from the original OPTICON series. The front baffle appears in either white or black matte and provides a rigid foundation for the drivers. The baffles are complimented by three new cabinet finishes; Satin Black, Satin White or Tobacco Oak. The MK2 grilles are also covered in a new furniture grade textured fabric, in black for the two darker finishes and a light grey for the white finish. The tweeters have been upgraded to a 29mm soft dome tweeter, which has been derived from the CALLISTO series. These are used across all six OPTICON MK2 models. The new tweeter faceplates are made from cast aluminium and provide the speakers with a fantastic new DALI signature look. The bass and mid-range drivers incorporate the unique DALI wood fibre diaphragms and the SMC (Soft Magnet Compound) technology derived from the flagship DALI EPICON series. Further upgrades on the MK2 series include the Dual Flare reflex ports, resulting in reduced turbulence and noise from the cabinet. The crossovers have also been re-designed with upgraded components to minimise loss even further.
