In the 1980’s, his hobby turned into a company because of increased demand among his friends and fellow artists in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for his paint. Demand grew to love and obsession. Those who use Williamsburg paint know that pigment qualities are revealed by the specific grind of each mineral.
