Use this to extend and darken rose accords where you want depth rather than brightness. It stretches rose absolute beautifully, adding spicy warmth without shifting the floral identity. In geranium compositions it works as a rich modifier that adds sophistication. Start at low doses and build up, as the pepper note can dominate unexpectedly at higher levels. Combine with alpha-damascone and damascenone for a complete dark rose palette. It pairs particularly well with black pepper, vetiver, and cedar for spicy-woody floral structures.
