Damascone Alpha is a member of the Rose Ketones, a group of chemicals with incredible radiance and sublime beauty. They have a special IFRA standard in which any one or combination of all must be counted towards a maximum total load of 0.043% in a finished fine fragrance. Fortunately traces have impact so these are still some of the most valuable perfumery materials today. Damascone Alpha is more fruit (apple and plum) than rose, with a metallic and slightly spicy edge. It was first sold at 3% of the Firmenich base Cetylia®, a lovely rose base which partnered with Dorinia® the launch-pad for Damascone Beta. Because of its incredible strength and the high IFRA restriction we sell this in 10% dilution or pure. We only stock the original Firmenich quality which far surpasses all other manufacturers in beauty. NOTE: We package all high odour or high risk materials individually in separate heat sealed aluminium bags to mitigate any risk of cross-contamination. Show more
