This Damascus Bowie was forged from 1085 and 15N20 steel and was deferentially heat treated. It has a very classic Bowie profile blade featuring a flat oval shaped guard and nickel constructed spacer and pommel cap. The butt cap has perimeter grooving and fluting on the end with a centered finial boss. The handle is constructed from a large piece of fossilized Walrus baculum (Oosick) that complements the blade well and fits great in the hand. Hidden tang. 9 1/2 inch blade, 14 3/4 inches overall. 1085 and 15N20 steel. Forged. This knife does not come with a sheath. About the Maker: Ronnie Foster is a Master Smith through the American Bladesmith Society, which he earned in 2003. He has been bladesmithing since 1995 and hails from Morrilton, Arkansas.
