The macabre dance, also known as the Dance of Death, is a medieval art form that uses symbolism to showcase the inevitability of death. Often featuring skeletons dancing with peopl e from all walks of life, it represents death as the ultimate equalizer. This concept emerged in the Late Middle Ages, a time of turmoil that sparked a new perspective on our finite existence.
