This Dance To Communicate a Mood/Emotion Assignment teaches students to use dance as a language to communicate feelings. In groups, students will create a dance that reflects an as signed mood/emotion, such as being happy or sad. They will also choose an appropriate song to perform to, then present their dance to the class. After presenting their performance, they will then write a reflection piece where they analyze how their dance reflects their assigned emotion, as well as their own strengths and areas for growth.
