This reversible statement pendant features a focal stone of Indonesian Palm Wood paired with a Mexican Fire Opal, the front of this pendant tells the story of a fire’s flame dancing into the eternal night sky while the back conveys an origin story of a seed pod one day becoming a leaf of a tree. Other materials include sterling silver, brass, and gold filled wire. Stone origin and composition: Indonesian Palm Wood is a member of the chalcedony family and occurs when tree trunks were buried and replaced by microcrystalline quartz over millions of years. Mexican Fire Opal is characteristic by it's orange hues. Primarily found in Mexico, it's valued by Aztecs and Mayans, and is prized for its intense color.
