With its airy cut-out center, the Dancing Kite design naturally lends itself to a simple, understated but truly beautiful, bangle design. This piece formed in my mind’s eye as I was making the Dancing Kite necklace and earrings. Space and air, move freely in and around the bangle giving a gentle nudge to the wearer and whispering: “Remember to breathe, everything is okay. I am air and I am here to look after you. Let’s dance together and see where the wind takes us.” The bangle flows naturally from start to finish in delicate* silver from the narrower V-shape at the top of the kite around in an oval towards the more open side. Here the catch nestles in, curling neatly around the bottom inside curve of the V. I can adapt the size of the bangle to suit your requirements, but if you would like something different to the standard detailed here, please state this in the comments when you place your order, or send me an email. *I made the piece pictured in 1.5mm round silver wire, but it really is very delicate, so plan to make future pieces in 2mm round wire instead. This will make it more robust for taking on and off. If you would prefer the 1.5mm version - pictured - despite understanding the extra care that will need to be taken, please state this in the comments when you place your order. The detail The kite part of the bangle is 3.8cm long from top to bottom, 1cm wide from side to side and 1mm thick from front to back. The standard bangle size pictured here is oval and 18.5cm/7.3" in length.
