Luděk Hroch's Dancing Leaves for Lasvit begins with a simple observation: the way foliage catches light and moves with air. What emerges from that impulse is a sculptural object of remarkable delicacy, each leaf individually hand-blown by Czech glassmakers whose technique descends from centuries of Bohemian craft. The piece belongs to a lineage of work that treats glass not as a material to be tamed, but as one to be coaxed. Hroch works within Lasvit's tradition of pairing contemporary designers with master glassblowers, allowing the dialogue between maker and material to shape the final form. The result reads differently across conditions of light, hour, and season.
