Gigolo Paul Drexel makes his living escorting women to dance halls. When he meets Diana Trevor, they fall in love, but much to her horror, she discovers that her stepmother, Tamara, is one of Paul's clients. When Tamara is killed, Paul is suspected of murder. Convinced of his innocence, Diana works desperately to clear his name.Reginald Denny was a professional boxer and aviator before making it big as a silent film star. Irish-born Edwin Maxwell first performed on Broadway and eventually appeared as sleazy lawyers in notable films such as Scarface (1932) and His Girl Friday (1940). Director Albert Ray began working in the film industry during its New York heyday and transferred to Hollywood at the end of the 1910s. His work includes numerous shorts as well as the Ginger Roger's features The Thirteenth Guest (1932) and A Shriek in the Night (1933).
