The Euphaedra Neophron is a butterfly species native to South Africa, with a wingspan of approximately 6 cm in real life. These butterflies come in various shades, but this piece was inspired by the Neophron for its mesmerizing combination of iridescent violet, orange, and hints of gold. It took some time to perfect the colors, and in truth, the camera doesn’t quite capture the stunning iridescent effect, which shifts beautifully from electric blue to violet. Crafted from resin, these earrings dangle from an articulated sterling silver piece with a pin and stud fastening, allowing for graceful movement. Each pair is meticulously hand-drawn and painted with patience and a steady hand. The metallic paint used enhances their brilliance, movement, and luminosity, making each pair truly special.Since these pieces are entirely handcrafted—from the mold to the painting—each one is unique. Dimension: 70mm (L). Striking in size, yet remarkably lightweight for effortless wear.
