Daniel Castaneda Sanchez grew up astoundingly destitute in the mountains far outside Cuernavaca Ð 12 people in a 2-room wood shack with no plumbing or electricity. It was about an hourÕs walk to the nearest little village and a four hour walk to the nearest town which also had the nearest road. He raised vegetables to sell and being the oldest child, helped his mother take care of his siblings. He was growing up out in nowhere with a violent alcoholic father.
