A pen of two seasons, the Danitrio Genkai Mariko features a traditional spring motif on its cap, with a corresponding winter scene on the barrel. A variety of the most advanced Maki-e techniques have been used. Our rigorous quality control process ensures that any Danitrio pen you purchase from us will be in superb writing condition from the moment you receive it. Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts optimum pressure and ink flow to your own personal preferences, and our optional nib customizations can add to the character of your writing on the page. Danitrio writing instruments are produced in a process both painstakingly artisinal and uniquely international: the ebonite pen bodies are produced in Taiwan, urushi finishing occurs in Japan, the nibs are created in Germany, and the company itself is based in California. Danitrio founder Bernard Lyn brings a collector's eye and long years of experience to his carefully curated offerings. The eyedropper filling system provides for a very generous ink capacity and allows this pen to fill using any bottled fountain pen ink. Each pen ships in a special presentation box. We are an authorized Danitrio dealer.
