This is the second number in the series. Written in 4/4 'Danza Espania' utilizes a Spanish feeling in the piano part and off beats in the snare drum. Can be performed by any studen t with an understanding of eighth, sixteenth notes, flams and 5- stroke, 9- stoke rolls. The use of syncopation and tempo changes will remind the listener of flamenco dancers (incorporates independence, articulate rhythms, and multi-metrics into a delightful dance rhythm).
