Do you only want to use the Diamine Oxidase enzyme? Then it is best to choose the DAO Mini tablets. These are easy to swallow (5mm diameter). If you also like the benefits of the additional active ingredients Vitamin C and Quercetin, then choose the DAO Plus capsules. What is the difference between the DAO Plus and DAO mini tablets? The DAO mini tablets contain only the Diamine Oxidase enzyme, packed in a small tablet (diameter 5mm). In addition to Diamine Oxidase, the DAO Plus also contains vitamin C and Quercetin, packed in a capsule. Both the DAO Mini tablets and the DAOfood Plus capsules contain 20,000-30,000 HDU per tablet/capsule.Are there completely different ingredients in the DAOfood products? The active substance in DAO is the Diamine Oxidase enzyme. In addition, DAO Plus capsules also contain the active ingredients Vitamin C and Quercetin. How can you say that DAO Mini and Plus contains 20,000 - 30,000 HDU per capsule or tablet, but the number of mg of pork kidney extract is always the same?We can imagine that this may seem confusing! With enzymes, however, the number of mg does not say much about the effectiveness/strength of the enzyme. The exact number of HDU can differ per batch. Diamine Oxidase is a very difficult enzyme, which means that the same efficacy cannot be achieved every time per batch. The current batch (2006A) DAO Plus contains 27390 HDU and the current batch (2002) DAO mini tablets contains 28000 HDU Diamine Oxidase.
