A Himalayan species of Daphne that is also known in that part of the world as the Nepalese paper plant. The evergreen Daphne species will grow taller than wide, reaching 6 feet ove r time. The flowers are powerrfully fragrant, and this species has been used in hybridizing new Daphne cultivars like 'Perfume Princess'.
