DAQFactory Runtime lets you distribute your DAQFactory applications to end users at a lower cost and without worrying that they will make changes to your application. DAQFactory Runtime displays all the screens you created in your application and runs all the scripts, control loops, logging and alarming. The only difference is that you can't make any changes to the document. If you have a development license with the hardware key option, you can switch a runtime installation to development mode temporarily, without stopping the application, by inserting the hardware key and switching to development mode, with optional password entry. Runtime runs documents created with DAQFactory Lite, Base or Pro. Documents created in the DAQFactory trial or Express can't be opened under a Runtime license until they're saved with a licensed development copy. With DAQFactory Developer you don't have to buy Runtime licenses for documents you create with it. Media not included. DAQFactory can be downloaded from this website and includes all help files and manuals in PDF format. DAQFactory Runtime is the same executable and same installer as the development versions of DAQFactory.
