This mascara is 98.91% natural, due to the inclusion of 2 preservatives as follows: 0.55% Sodium Hydroxide, also known as caustic soda, is used to control the pH of the mascara to prevent it from being too acidic and thus irritating. 0.45% Potassium Sorbate, a highly effective preservative against yeasts and moulds. HOW TO USE First work the upper lashes, holding the brush horizontally closer to the root and then go up in a stretching motion. Emphasise the outer lashes to enlarge the eye and centre for a more open look. If the brush is too loaded, remove the excess with a tissue but not at the edge of the tube.
