Named in honor of the patriarch of the ten Boom family, Casper is a medium-dark roast with a rich, balanced profile and natural notes of cacao. Roasted to develop more depth and body without overpowering the character of the coffee, it’s smooth, satisfying, and approachable. High in Colombia’s Sierra Nevada, Avelino Rodríguez, his wife Luza, and their ten children grow the Caturra coffee behind Casper. Their family began cultivating Caturra in 2019 on just 1.5 acres of land at 1,400 meters above sea level. Through years of hard work and dedication, their farm has since grown to 15 acres. It’s a story of a family building something for the future—caring for their land, growing exceptional coffee, and creating greater opportunity for the generations that follow. Every cup of Casper begins with their land, their work, and their family.
