This is the newest quilt for my bed....I bought a bag of tie scraps at auction and was determined to use them somehow. The scraps were already cut into triangles that suited the look of my framed trianglez blocks. For extra, but subtle interest, I also used the framed trianglez with big centres version too. I have included a large choice of block sizes for both blocks. Continuing with the theme of thrift, I sorted through my box of blacks and came up with linens, silks, velvets, satins and synthetics in a variety of yardages and scraps for the blocks and border. It was great to use slippery, miss-matched fabric instead of my usual coordinated easily controlled cottons. The altruistic glow invoked has only enhanced how lovely it is to be abed in such Dark Nightz. This PDF quilting pattern includes full fabric requirements, cutting instructions and step-by-step assembly guidance. You may customise it to your desired quilt size.
