Antique brass reads as older than it is, which is exactly why it works on a lantern shape borrowed from heritage lighting. The Darwin Lantern combines that finish with clean, squar ed lines and glass panels, so the piece nods to the past without looking like a reproduction. Iron forms the frame, and the glass panels let a pillar candle throw light out on all four sides rather than upward only. It suits a living room, a dining setting or layering with other pieces at different heights on a console. A matching Darwin Hurricane Lantern is available.
