However, among the vehicles sketched in this bustling city, very few luxury or high-performance cars are featured; instead, the focus is on trucks, buses, and small, compact vehicles. Typically, utility vehicles like trucks are associated with worn or rugged appearances, but the business vehicles seen in Japan were mostly very clean and well-maintained, leaving a lasting impression. As the artist mentioned, his ongoing procrastination in completing the driver’s license test means that, for now, his bicycle remains the only “trusty steed” he's legally allowed to command—a somewhat brutal reality at this stage of his life.
