Product Code: RG3-M The Onset® HOBO® RG3-M is a self-contained, battery-powered metric data logging rain gauge designed for accurate, long-term rainfall monitoring in environmental, agricultural, hydrological, and research applications. The instrument combines a high-quality tipping-bucket rain gauge with an integrated HOBO Pendant Event data logger, automatically recording the date and time of every bucket tip to provide detailed rainfall totals, intensity, duration, and storm event analysis. With a 0.2 mm rainfall resolution, weatherproof aluminium construction, and the ability to also record ambient temperature using an optional solar radiation shield, the RG3-M is ideal for unattended outdoor deployments in demanding environments. A HOBO® Pendant Optic USB Base Station, or HOBO® Waterproof Shuttle and HOBOware™ Pro software (each sold separately) are required to connect the rain gauge to a computer for launch and readout. The rain gauge features a removable top for easy data offload, three mounting feet for setup on level surfaces (three screws included), and a side bracket for mast mounting (hose clamps included).
