Dates, heirloom apples, raisins, and red peppers slowly simmered with spices reminiscent of the Middle East creates a beautifully rich, juicy and exotic chutney. When we lived in L ondon, we made frequent trips to the local Middle-Eastern market to purchase their big, juicy Medjool dates. This chutney takes us right back to these trips.
